In connection with the situation related to the coronavirus infection, most of the processes of human activity went online. Of course, the Internet has become the main helper in the fight against the pandemic, but the network has also begun to produce huge flows of information. The pandemic has generated a large amount of fake information that can adversely affect the state and health of a person, as well as hinder the fight against infection. The infodemic, as an epidemic of false rumors, will be discussed in this paper.
