The article is devoted to the study of a number of problems related to the specifics of the socio-cultural and psychological characteristics of ethnic migrant workers in the Russian Federation. It is based on a secondary analysis of the results of sociological and psychological studies of migrants from Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), as well as the attitudes of representatives of the country's indigenous population towards them. The article considers value orientations, traditional religious norms of behavior, and psychological characteristics that can influence the formation of the conflict potential of ethnic migrant workers.
